The company will aid in featuring AGA 'Have A Game Plan, Bet Responsibly' ads on its various media platforms.

The SportsGrid Network has joined the list of gaming companies that have partnered with the American Gaming Association (AGA) and its sports betting public service campaign, Have A Game Plan, Bet Responsibly.

Under the terms of its partnership with the AGA, SportsGrid will market the Have A Game Plan campaign during its live programming, as well as on multimedia platforms, including its app and website.

AGA SVP Casey Clark said, “Media companies are one of the most important players in effectively educating consumers on responsible wagering, and we’re grateful to SportsGrid for bringing Have A Game Plan to their broad audience of sports fans and bettors.

“As sports betting is increasingly discussed across media, it’s critical for stakeholders like SportsGrid to continue to lead the way on elevating responsible gaming."

The AGA first launched the campaign in 2019. Have A Game Plan was designed with four simple concepts in mind, including sticking to a budget, keeping the entertainment social and for adults, knowing the odds and playing with legal, regulated operators.

The AGA described the program in an official statement, “Have A Game Plan brings the broader sports betting ecosystem together around a common consumer education message, focusing on the four principles of responsible wagering for those who choose to bet.”

SportsGrid COO Adam Kaplan further elaborated on the AGA campaign by saying, “The AGA’s Have A Game Plan campaign sets important standards for the industry to embrace, and SportsGrid is pleased to join the initiative.

“SportsGrid’s management is committed to supporting Have A Game Plan across the marketing and advertising of sports wagering on the company’s multimedia platform.”
