Global Gaming Awards

Since 2014 the Global Gaming Awards, powered by Gaming America and Gambling Insider, have been and continue to be the most trusted and prestigious Awards in the gaming industry.

Companies and individuals are always shortlisted based on merit, and a reason for their nomination is given and made publicly available in the official Shortlist magazine. Winners are chosen by C-level industry executives. KPMG in the Crown Dependencies independently adjudicates the voting process to ensure full transparency and fairness.

There are three Global Gaming Awards events a year.

Global Gaming Awards EMEA

The first event of the year is held in late January / early February, and rewards success achieved by operators and suppliers across Europe and Africa. Between 2018 – 2024, the event was held in London’s Hippodrome Casino. The 2025 edition will be held in Barcelona with more details to be unveiled later this year.

Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific

Our second event rewards companies that have been successful across the Asia-Pacific region. The 2022 and 2023 editions of the event were held virtually and the first in-person Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific ceremony is scheduled for 4 June 2024 in Manila, during the SiGMA Asia event.

Global Gaming Awards Americas

The flagship Global Gaming Awards event is held in Las Vegas every October and recognizes the most successful companies and individuals from the Americas region. In 2023, the Global Gaming Awards Americas celebrated their 10th edition.

Why the Global Gaming Awards are the most prestigious in the industry

Companies are always nominated on merit and the reason for their nomination is made public in the official Shortlist magazine. It is also seen by the Judging Panel, together with a supporting statement, during the voting process.

A panel of C-level executives from the industry decides the winners, with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies monitoring the entire voting process to ensure full transparency and fairness.

General rules include:

  • Every company category has a consistent number of nominees across the Shortlist;
  • If a company has multiple brands, only one of those brands can be shortlisted in a particular category;
  • Only one person per company is allowed to participate in the Judging Panel;
  • Any judge who is working for/associated with a company which is shortlisted, can only vote in the categories in which said company isn’t nominated.
